Female Academic Leaders Fellowship Non-Profit Company (“FALF“), in association with and WITS University (“WITS“), has the objective of raising funds for the purpose of supporting qualifying academic fellows by assisting them in furthering their academic and leadership development and is accordingly in the process of designing a brochure to market FALF and its objectives to potential funders.
As an academic fellow of FALF, FALF and WITS may, from time to time, need to process your Personal Information (as that term is defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA“), including your picture, name and the title of your research for purposes of incorporating details thereof in any marketing strategies that FALF and WITS may employ, including the marketing brochures to be distributed to potential funders, and for any other purpose relating to the objectives FALF.
Warranty: By completing and signing this consent form, you warrant and represent that you are competent to give the consent given under this consent form.
You acknowledge that FALF and WITS will process your Personal Information relating to your identity and your research, including by distributing your Personal Information to potential funders and other third parties for the purposes expressed and outlined in this consent form. In this regard, you acknowledge that FALF and WITS will provide their authorised third party service providers with access to your Personal Information, and these third parties will process your Personal Information for the purposes contemplated herein. FALF, WITS and their designated third parties will process such Personal Information in accordance with the provisions of POPIA. You further understand that, as potential funders may be domiciled outside of the Republic of South Africa, FALF and WITS may send your Personal Information outside of the Republic of South Africa and you consent to FALF and WITS transferring the Personal Information outside of the Republic of South Africa.
